she looks at the pendant, the amber glow in it. it's been a long time since she's seen mage-stone. earth doesn't have it, largely because there's simply not as much magic as there used to be. she knows what it's used for though--it holds spells incredibly well, hence the name, and it shows signs of the magic used to spell it. the gold is so antithetical to pitch's swirling darkness that she knows it can't be him. and she remembers her father's golden armor. it seems so right.]
I didn't know there was anyone else left, aside from us here on Earth.
[it makes her wonder. are there remnants of the golden age, back where they're from? she's not even sure she could find her way home now, even if she had a ship that could make the journey. and, well. after so long, earth was her home.
